As per the resolution dated 11/20/2017/207/K/T.12/06/2018, if a teacher with qualification of upper primary teacher is working in standard 1 to 5, he should be given the option to work as upper primary teacher standard 6 to 8. is coming .
According to the new education policy 2021, standard 1 to 5 is known as lower primary and standard six to eight as upper primary. Teachers working in Std. 1 to 5 lower primary are required to pass Tate One as well as PTC pass. While teachers working in upper primary i.e. standard 6 to 8 are required to have passed TET 2 as well as have ptc and bachelor degree or have B.Ed. According to the government's amendment, if a teacher is working in primary and they have the right qualification to work in upper primary, then those teachers are given the option to move from lower primary to upper primary. With this option, Std. 1 to 5 lower primary education can work as upper primary teacher in Std. 6 to 8.
