According to this circular, in Std. 3 to 5, an understanding has been given about the number of hours to be allotted for which subject. 

     At the time of design of the existing syllabus, a specific time has been fixed for teaching every subject from standard one to eight and keeping in view the textbooks of that subject have also been prepared. Accordingly, out of 800 hours during the year in standard 3 to 5 for that subject The following hours are allotted.

In Std. 3 to 5, separate hours are allotted for different subjects for the first session and second session. The timetable for allotment of standard three to five is given below.
