Schools could not be formally started due to Covid 19, but due to the efforts of the education department, arrangements have been made so that students can study at home. During the first semester of the year 2020, the students have studied through various methods of home learning instead of school. Now that the real educational work has started in Std. 6th to 8th, knowing their ability and starting the work as per the school routine on the basis of it, it will be easier for the teachers to do the treatment work. In view of this, it is planned to evaluate the students studying in all government grant aided primary schools with the same question papers. GCERT Gandhinagar has issued a program for the examination of all subjects of Std. 6 to 8 of the first session diagnostic test in the entire state. The schedule of first session diagnostic test of all subjects from Std. 6 to 8 is published by GCERT Gandhinagar on 22nd February 2020. The diagnostic test for the first semester of Std. 6 to 8 starts from March 15, 2020. At the end of this test, the teachers of all the schools will have to check the question paper and then do remedial work based on it.
Necessary instructions regarding the first session diagnostic test
1. All standard 3 to 8 students will be examined.
2. Students of Std. 3 and 4 have to write the answers to the questions in the question paper while students of Std. 6 to 8 have to write the answers to the questions in a separate answer book.
3. Question paper verification which has to be done by the subject teacher only at school level.
4. The question papers will be checked and the remedial work of the students will have to be done on the basis of it.
5. Considering the situation of the corona and arranging a high seating arrangement.
6. Social distance, mask, hand sanitizer should all follow government guidelines.
