gseb Hsc And Ssc Exam Time Table 2021. According to media reports, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is expected to announce the schedule for the class 10 and 12 board examinations. As p
er reports, the exam schedule is expected to be released by next week.
Examination Registrations
According to board officials, the board is also considering two dates may 10 and 17 and is likely to choose any one of the two options and announce the exam time table by next week. Approximately 10.5 lakh candidates are expected to register for the class 10 board exams while the general stream, of class 12 is expected to have 5.30 lakh candidates. The class 12 science stream is expected to have 1.50 lakh student registrations.
The board has also announced a 30 percent reduction in the syllabus and has also made changes in the examination pattern and usually, the exams are conducted in the month of March but delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Exam Centres
The number of exam centres will also be increased from 5,500 to 6,700 in order to maintain social distancing norms which have also resulted in the number of exam rooms increasing from 60,000 to 75,000 this year with a fall of 60 percent exam centres in rural areas.

As per the revised exam format, 50 percent marks will be awarded for the OMR )Optional Mark Reader) answers and 50 percent for the Descriptive questions for Class 12 Science students while the Class 12 General stream and Class 10 candidates the objective questions will carry 30 percent marks instead of 20 percent awarded earlier.
